For the second set of my Fall wishlist, it’s not too exciting since they’re items I actually plan on purchasing.
I’m a wimp when it comes to trends since I’m never quite sure how to style something until the trend is practically over. So, if I do get trendy items, I try to get them as accessories.
First up, stripes. I love stripes and I pretty much wore my Breton tops to death this summer. But for fall, I want skinny stripes and this shirt from J.Crew in olive is a simple staple but in a more unusual color.

Next is animal print. I got a cheetah print skirt from LOFT, but it’s not in the traditional color which makes it more abstract. So, I’d love to get my hands on more animal print items like this calf hair belt from J.Crew.

Finally, fur. I know there can be controversy over this trend but I’m not as picky about it. In true cold weather countries, there can be no replacement for real fur. But since I live in a temperate zone and can get by with faux fur as long as it doesn’t look gross.
I love how Jean from ExtraPetite styled her fur collar from H&M. I’d want something similar, but about half the thickness. Currently, I haven’t seen anything in stores that resembles what I want, so I might head to the fabric shop and DIY it.

Animal prints items are really “in” this season and I am really loving your belt pick since I am not daring enough to incorporate more ostentatious pieces into my outfits yet. I love stripes too but haven’t quite figured out how to style it beyond using solid colors with them.
I really want a red coat and I want to get it in person because some retailers mess with the color in photos so I never know what I’ll get.

I saw that calf hair belt before! It’s gorgeous! I’m even wimpier than you when it comes to trends~ I stay away completely!
I’m getting better at taking in trends since I want so many things, I have to narrow it down to what looks good on me. Like those skinny cargos…I want, but I don’t think I could pull it off.
I love the belt! I have the j. Crew patent leopard belt and the print is really versatile. The calf hair looks amazing.

I’ve been wanting a leather jacket for two years. Hopefully I’ll finally find one that I LOVE so it’s worth the money.

II think stripes look extra cute on you because of your hair! And skinny stripes are definitely the way to go! Have you tried the petite stripe boatneck tee from LOFT?
I have seen the LOFT tee but I’m really pushing for skinny stripes since the LOFT one is really similar to my Breton striped tops I have already.
