Yay rain!
We don’t get much rain here so I don’t have any raingear aside from an umbrella. But I do have a couple of makeshift items that are seemingly waterproof. Right as I was getting the hang of wearing rain-ready outfits, it stopped raining! The start of the colder season is such a tease.
Here’s one of my rainy day outfits from Wednesday. I wore my only trench-style coat, which I’m sure isn’t water-resistant, but that’s what the umbrella is for right? Because I hate wet hems, cropped pants or skirts are a much drier alternative.

Very cute outfit! I love the trench and it looks more expensive than a F21 item. I have practically no rain gear- no boots, trench, etc…I only hope I remember my umbrella when it rains
I love how you paired the nude booties with this darker colored outfit. Really brightens it up! The last time it rained I had made the mistake of wearing white jeans — I had major laundry to do that night!! I’ve since tried to wear flowy skirts on days where I know it’ll rain with my waterproof jelly flats. Thank goodness it doesn’t rain often here or I’d be investing in a pair of rainboots!

I hate wet hems too but when it rains I don’t feel like wearing skirts! When it rains here it always feels so cold and damp – I feel chilled to the bone! I like wearing boots over my jeans and sweaters – something warm and cozy!

I wear my rainboots when it’s raining, about to rain, or will rain. I have gotten funny looks from people at work when it’s sunny. When I tell them there’s a chance of rain, they still look at me funny.
LOL. My friend does the same thing, I think she just likes wearing rainboots in general though.

That trench is gorgeous – how is the material?
The material is half polyester and half cotton. It feels like a thick satin material so it has a bit of a sheen to it. But I like that it’s lined and it’s pretty well-constructed for F21.

My rainy day outfit in the fall/winter is and outfit made of: boot+tights+skirt+sweater. It never gets old!
