I had brunch with a friend in Culver City over the weekend. We picked this cute diner with great some fluffy pancakes that made me smile. I still can’t get over how simple pancakes are but they’re so comforting to eat!
As we were walking around to help digest our meal, who did we happen to see waiting to cross the street?
Yes that is the wonderful Jamie Lee Curtis.
We thought that she was headed to Indiecade, since that’s the big event going on in Culver City. It was pretty cool and I’m so not used to seeing actors out and about doing normal everyday things.

It was pretty cool that you get to see celebrities. I am sure that I would never get a chance to see any of them in Ohio

Did you know that the secret to fluffy pancakes is to not overmix the batter?! I know of this trick but I still prefer going to a restaurant most of the time LOL. Ahhhh and a paparazzi picture of Jami Lee Curtis?! Crazy.
Really? I never know when to stop mixing cuz I’m always afraid of getting flour lumps in my pancakes.

I guess I’m more used to seeing them with the film crew, rehearsing and running lines, that it seems out of place when they’re running errands and stuff.
