Over the weekend, I went to the Beverly Hills Fashion Festival. There were four designers lined up and I attended finale by H.Lorenzo.
Since H.Lorenzo is a boutique, they featured designs from Michel Berando, Odyn Vovk, Olima Atelier, and Skingraft. It was a juxtaposition of soft, sheer dresses and intricately detailed leather jackets that mimicked the polarity of these brands.

After the show, my friends and I headed to the afterparty at Voyeur. The bar/lounge was an ideal setting for a post-show party. With beautiful people and high-energy DJ remixes, it caught my attention. If you watch Gossip Girl, Voyeur is reminiscent of those places I’d find Chuck when he was off to “forget” his troubles. Classy, risqué, and mysterious all in one location.
Tate, an aspiring designer invited me to this event and I had to wear my current faves to the fashion show.

Ah man! Just when I leave LA…all this cool fashion stuff happens! Come on San Diego…step up your game!
Looking good in your peplum jacket! I have to sew a button back on mine…LOL…shoddy workmanship, but I still love it!
@PetiteLittleGirl: Thanks! I’m still not quite sure how to dress for fashion events, but as long as I’m comfortable with what I’m wearing…who cares?
@Elle: I’m loving the jacket, it’s really versatile for me! =)
@Kileen: LOL. Fashion shows are fun, I don’t know why I didn’t try attending before! And Madewell is awesome…but I need to stay away for now or I’ll ruin my shopping ban.
@Alterations Needed: San Diego has some fashion events…I ran into a couple of designers who said they’re all based in SD. But we’re nearing the end of LAFW…or the 1.5 months of fashion.
Awe..you look so adorable in your outfit! Lucky girl! Looks awesome!
And that jacket..I wish I got it now:)
