Monday night. Mission District. Wix Lounge.
I found myself in a minimalist third story loft with an outdoor patio overlooking the city landscape. The serenity of the view was intermingled with hip hop beats and conversational laughter as I joined the crowd to usher in the auspicious rejuvenation of San Francisco Fashion Week.

With stylish gentlemen and fashionable ladies, it’s hard not to be intimidated by the collection of talent in such a compact space. I met some awesome clothing designers, established photographers, and energetic fashion models. We mixed, we mingled, and we networked like nobody’s business.

Red was the siren call of the evening. I was immediately drawn this woman’s red dress and the two ladies beside her with their vibrant red lipstick. Their names may have escaped me, but their charm lingers on.

Nina is a footwear designer and she shares my shopping pains as a fellow petite. However, we both came to the realization that discovering new designers and brands help keep us ahead of the curve when it comes to style. When you have a unique well-made item, it can greatly enhance your style signature.
Now, the women were well-dressed, to be sure, but the men blew me away with their poise and style! I was definitely drawn to the dapper gentlemen that peppered the crowd and snagged a few shots. My camera swooned at the sight so some of the photos aren’t as sharp these men. Still, you still get the essence of what makes these stylish individuals stand out.

Love your coverage Jess and oh to be surrounded by so much inspiration!
It’s definitely been quite influential seeing what people can pull off and how they mix and match things!
Love your mixed print top and you are right, that woman’s dress is indeed gorgeous! Reminds me of a 40s screen siren! Stunning!!
Exactly, I’ve been on a retro kick as of late, so I’m drawn to put together ladies. =)
DANTE AND DARIO ARE MY NEW FAVORITES! Oh my god, they are so adorable and got amazing steez!
So jealous you are a part of SFFW. I would love to be a part of a major city FW one day. Maybe in Honolulu. I love that blouse, and I hope I get to see more of that outfit as SFFW coverage continues! Also, love your hair!
Again, JAAHLOUS.
Good work, Jess!
