This month is Breast Cancer Awareness month and I had the opportunity to attend the Project Pink fashion show at Westfield Valley Fair.
The show featured several breast cancer survivors who shared their stories as well as fall fashions from the mall’s big brands such as Superdry, Gap, and Banana Republic.

I know I’m not a big fan of the color pink, but when it comes to breast cancer, it’s serious business. So why not liven things up with a pink-themed party?
From a candy bar to cotton candy, it was a bright, vibrant tent filled with treats, raffle prizes, and amazing fashion.

Rashti of MODE Bay Area hosted the show. With a recent Microsoft store opening, a Microsoft representative gifted a $10,000 check to the American Cancer Society to show their support for the fight against breast cancer.
Not only did we hear stories from breast cancer survivors but there was a special guest, Laura Kathleen from the latest season of Project Runway.

The fall runway fashion was a great reminder of what looks to put together for this season. But I was truly inspired by the strength of these women, the survivors…love their courage and optimism!
