During a short weekend stay in LA, I visited my favorite malls and scoured a few small shopping neighborhoods. I’ve become increasingly picky about what I want to buy, so I really enjoy the boutiques more than mainstream stores since they have cool and unique items.
On my way to pick up some cupcakes from Crumbs Bake Shop and macarons from Paulette‘s new mini-shop, ‘Lette, I stopped by Library.

Whenever I pass by this store on my way to Z-Pizza for dinner, the window displays always catch my eye.
Library has a well-selected collection of slouchy tees, slim jeans, loose sweaters, and broken-in leathers. With designer jeans and items from Rag & Bone, this isn’t a place for some cheap thrills. However, they do have some mid-range items and that’s how I scored my first “leather” jacket.
I tried on several leathers there and the majority were quite fitted and ran small. I vacillated between a $745 classic moto jacket and a $100 faux leather draped version. In the end, I picked the cheaper one since it’s more similar to my current style like my favorite Madewell jacket.
If you’re in LA, check it out.
