Tuesday Tunes: 3 New Artists

If my personal style is any indication of my music sensibilities, then it’s no surprise that I have eclectic taste.

Here are some new artists that are too good to miss.

Mariah McManus

When I used to live in LA, I went to Mosaic and that’s the first time I ever heard Mariah. Even back then, her voice was so unique and haunting…it’s no surprise to see that she released a full length album! If love the unique vocal stylings of Dia Frampton and Xenia, you’ll love her too.

Mayday Parade

During my formative years as an angst-ridden teen, I lived off emo rock with catchy beats as a means of escape. Mayday Parade isn’t a new band, but their self-titled album feels like a return to their roots. I’m lovin’ the tracks “You’re Dead Wrong,” “Stay,” and “Everything’s an Illusion.”

Meme

And for something completely different. Meme is hard to classify but I liken them to Frou Frou/Imogen Heap, Bird York, and Dido. I discovered Meme through Gossip Girl…who knew this TV show would be so influential when it comes to music?
