This is the first year in a long time that I don’t have to fly home for Thanksgiving!
No plane ticked booked months in advance, no rush to the airport, and no hassle getting to my parent’s home. We don’t always celebrate it the traditional way, but we do stay together for this holiday. Instead of turkey with all the fixin’s, it’s Chinese food this year.

There’s no place like home.

Canadians do Thanksgiving in October and we don’t do turkey every year either. When we do, it’s either turkey congee or turkey fried rice with the left overs!

Lol, turkey congee…we make duck congee with our leftovers. =)
We had a traditional Thanksgiving feast this year =) Sounds like you had a great time with your family.
