Way back when I attended the Macy’s Glamorama, I posted a photo of Kev Nish and Diane responded on my Facebook that she was backstage of that very same event. We talked briefly and I eventually discovered that she was a fellow petite.
We met at Nordstrom Cafe and chatted away like old friends as I gathered some notes for this petite series. It’s funny how the internet really brings people together and how many amazing people I’ve met along the way. This blogging community makes the world feel smaller everyday…and that’s how it should be.
Read on to find out more about Diane.

Height: 4 feet 10 inches
I’m an aspiring fashion designer and I’m pretty eclectic. I like a little bit of everything like pink and black…a lot of black actually. I’m drawn to the gothic Lolita style and Japanese fashion influences. I especially love skinny suspenders because they’re fun and quirky.
Being petite doesn’t mean you’re skinny. I have a pear shape body type so my hips don’t look good in body hugging bottoms, especially pencil skirts. I don’t want everything to be skin-tight because sometimes looser clothes look better.
Wearing empire waist clothes, especially long dresses, makes your legs look really long and it hides your stomach. Surprisingly, it’s really flattering for me.
Forever 21, H&M, and Hot Topic
