Lookbook: Sweatshirts are Cool

Nothing is as warm and cozy as a sweatshirt.

Instead of my unflattering and ratty college sweatshirts, I snuck in this curious little thing. The patchwork style and reverse seams are so interesting and understated. This is how grown-ups should wear sweatshirts.

My latest style evolution is influenced by these 3 blogs:

Simple, effortless, and sometimes bordering on minimalist, I draw ideas from these influential sites and incorporate it into my wardrobe. Put together, slightly disheveled, but not perfectly polished. I love the little imperfections in an outfit…the wrinkles, the shadows…it shows that it’s been loved and worn out.

You manage to make comfortable look so cool…these are the kind of skills I need to gain too :P I really like your burgundy leggings; in fact, if there’s one trend for fall and winter that I hope to get on board, it is coloured pants. I’d do anything to see even a little less black around me!

The print on the sweatshirt very chic. I can’t really tell it was a sweatshirt.

The print of the sweatshirt looks more like a knit sweater design, so it really works! Great find! I am also loving your anorak! What size is that? I’m now searching for a better wind-breaker/water resistant jacket for chilly rainy days, and those types of jackets are usually hard to find in sizes that fit :(

The anorak is XXSP which fits really well. It’s a thin, waterproof jacket with no insulation but it works well over most of my sweaters and tops.
