If you’ve been following along on Twitter or Facebook, you might have seen my thrift haul. I snatched up some quality items for dirt cheap and now that I’ve cleaned them, they’re ready to wear.
The polka dot print on this silk shirt so fun and it’s a petite size! The proportions are perfect, but the fit is generous so I might have to take it to the tailors to have the body slimmed down.
By the way, the shirt is by Jones New York…have you heard of them?

I’ve been passively looking for a pair of white denim for years, but I’m a little of afraid of them (I get everything stained and dirty). Jones New York (JNY) is a brand that is more geared towards women in their late 30s or 40s (or later). More classic styles, but generally the demographic is def. not for someone in their 20s. Similar to maybe Talbot’s and the sizing is pretty generous, as you mentioned. Great find on the blouse though, it’s very pretty!
I have seen Jones New York brand at Ross. Like Cher mentions the clothes is geared towards women in their late 30s or 40s. The color of the blouse is pretty. I like how the blue make the polka dot pops.

Love the combination of colors! The blue top with black dots, the orange watch, the pumps and the white pants. The whole outfit is very fresh and is very pleasing to the eyes.

May I ask what size you took in that peacoat? It fits perfectly on you!
The size is XS and it fits really well! Gryphon tends to make tops with narrower shoulders and higher armhole stances.
