One of my most basic outfits is the jeans and a t-shirt pairing.
It’s one of the simplest looks you can wear and by adding other elements or accessories, you can easily take it from casual to dressy.
I received this lovely Beatles band tee from T-shirts.com and I seriously love it!
In Small, it skims my body well and it can easily be layered with a cardigan, sweater, or blazer. It has that super soft, broken-in feel to it as if it’s been a part of my closet for years.
One of my favorite ways to dress up a basic tee is to pair it with more formal elements like blazers or pumps. This muted rose color has been a recent obsession of mine and it goes so well with the gray tee, I couldn’t resist! It’s my pre-Valentine’s day rock outfit.

Love this post, Jess! As a self-proclaimed fancy girl, I used to have such a hard time just rocking a tee and jeans. But lately, I’m getting SO into wearing graphic tees, cropped blazers, and skinnies, just like you styled it! It’s genius! I get to feel comfy and casual, but the outfit has enough structure and pizazz to keep me from looking sloppy or dressed down. Love it!
The only problem is that they date me … I’ve got a Beastie Boys tee and a Run DMC tee…definitely a 90s child!

Lol, I love those old tees and they don’t date you, they make you awesome! Love it when people rock old school band tees of music they love! It’s always ironic to see someone wearing Pink Floyd and yet they’ve never listened to their music. =)

I love your tshirts..I love love all things beatles..but most of all I like how you dressed it up. I hardly ever wear tshirts…I always feel they are too casual for my look, but I may try this!
I love dressing up tees with more formal pieces too. A tee, blazer, jeans, and heels/flats/boots is my go-to outfit for when I can’t figure out what else to wear. The Beatles one you have looks nice on you!
