Looks for Less: Lauren Conrad

I’ve been a Lauren Conrad fan for years. I watched her duke it out with Kristin Cavallari over Stephen Colletti on Laguna Beach. I cringed when she turned down Paris for a shot at love with Jason Wahler on The Hills. I despised Speidi and Jen Bunney like any Lauren Conrad fan should. Today, I love following her career via LaurenConrad.com.

And through it all, I’ve really admired Lauren’s style. Chic, feminine, classic, and effortless, her sense of style continues to be a fashion inspiration for me. I’ve chosen three of my current favorite outfits from Lauren Conrad, and I’ll show you how to get these looks for less!

lauren conrad bright pants outfit

Bright pants are a big trend this spring. You can easily find pretty much any hue you want, from bright green to bold red. If you’re not entirely sure how to pull a bright pant off, take your notes from Lauren Conrad. She pairs some cheery coral pants with a basic, nude top. She also keeps it simple with a pair of basic flip flops, a tan bag, and a floppy straw hat.

Lauren Conrad maxi dress

[sandals] [dress]

Lauren Conrad is spotted in maxi dresses often, and I think there’s no prettier way to welcome warm, spring weather than a maxi. For the petite ladies out there, when shopping for a maxi, look for dresses that are either solid, monochromatic, or have small prints — you don’t want to overwhelm your small frame. I love the seafoam green tie-dyed print of Lauren’s dress!

Lauren Conrad stripes

[wedges] [striped top] [jeans]

This outfit is perfect for a casual day of running errands or lunch with friends. Stripes are another trend for spring — a nice striped top should be a staple in your wardrobe, whether you go for a bright color or a basic navy blue. Lauren keeps it simple with aviators, a crossbody bag, and some wedges for a perfect springtime look!

Any other Lauren Conrad fans out there?

Over the past few months, I’ve been reading about & witnessing how she’s been growing her business, and I have to say that I’m quite impressed…she’s definitely become an inspiration in that area. It looks like she’s working hard to do all that she wants to, and it’s inspiring to watch. I like her blog too, I think it’s a very well-put together resource.

As for her style, I’ve long admired the outfits that she puts together. To me it seems like she has mastered the effortless, California-girl style over the years, and I’ve seen her in a lot of outfits that I’d like to emulate, including these 3! All of them would be perfect for spring! :)

I totally agree! I’m a member on her site, and I genuinely enjoy her content. And I love the pieces from her Paper Crown line!

I love LC. She’s a great role model and has a great head on her shoulders. She’s one person who won’t go diva because of fame.
