Food, Not Fashion

October 28, 2010

I love fashion but I love food more. The other day, I had some delicious Brazilian food and I thought I’d share since it looks so good!

It’s rare that I have Brazilian food since most of friends only know of Brazilian BBQ. Grilled meats and all you can eat buffets can be fun, but I want to enjoy my food without worrying about getting my “money’s worth.” The last time I had Bossa Nova, my friend brought it over when I was sick and all I could remember was that the plantains were sweet and tasty.

This time around, we stopped by the Pico location for a bite to eat. The sun room area looked so inviting that I had to get a table there. Plus, it gives a full view of the restaurant which makes it a prime location for people watching. When the food arrived, the aroma whetted my appetite. The food was rich, savory, and comforting. The buttery rice, the fresh salsa, and the perfectly-cooked steak made for a solid meal that kept me energized for the rest of the day.

If you’re ever in the mood for Brazilian cuisine with some Italian influences, this would be a great place to go.

Oh I definitely have to agree that food always comes first. I’ve never tried Brazilian and it looks quite exotic! Yummy. =0D

Mmmm that all looks so so good! I agree, I would rather get quality prepared food, rather than just stuff myself silly!
